Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and motivation to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) solutions through an engagement while using the agency's senior professionals in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled while in the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils in the training sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
